The “Rumba Misterioso” single, released in January 2020, was our first new release since our 2016 debut album. The track picked up airplay on WUSF, 89.7 FM and WMNF, 88.5 FM in Tampa, and WUCF, 89.9 FM in Orlando. “Phil’s Blues” and “Sharkskin,” our other 2020 single tracks, also were played on WMNF and WUSF. We’re marketing these tracks only locally, but we will be marketing nationally for our second CD, due late summer or early fall. Stay tuned!

Acme Jazz Garage’s 2016 debut CD, released on the Solar Grooves label, received airplay on about 35 terrestrial and Internet radio stations across the United States, from the Southeast to the Far West. And even on a station Down Under. We landed on WMNF's list of 2016's Top 30 most played CDs -- the only Tampa Bay area band to do so. Our CD stayed on the Jazzweek chart for several months; in our biggest week, we received 43 spins on 16 stations!
